Sam met his new puppy and did some Minecraft art.

Darcie has been working hard on her maths, finding out about the digestive system and watching the daily weather.

Georgina has written a story about a frog, completed the Friday maths challenge and drawn some animal characters.

Ferne has been cooking, writing a story based on the girl in the jar and making a wildlife pond.

Ben and Lewis wrote a story together, taking it in turns to write a paragraph each. Take a look...

Maia has been doing lots of baking, adding an extension to her Bug Hotel, dissecting owl pellets and celebrating Midsummer's Day with a Summer themed Poetry Teatime.

Georgina has had a musical themed day with making a wind chime from items found around the house, writing a profile on a composer and finding out about Ariana Grande. Oh - and making a paper chain snake!

James has been keeping up with his reading, writing and maths as well as drawing maps and making a working compass.

Along with all of his maths and literacy Ben has been tending his allotment, making a periscope, drawing Rob Biddulph characters and climbing into hedges!

Maia celebrates Summer Solstice by making a sunshine cake, she has made a Bug Hotel and a bee watering station - part of the 30 days Wild from The Wildlife Trust.

Ferne has been doing a digestive system experiment, designing and making a soapbox cart for her doll, dissecting an owl pellet and writing about it all.

Charlotte has been working hard on lots of science and topic work. Well done and lots of Gems for you!

Ben has been baking ginger biscuits and bread, keeping up with his maths and literacy ans well as getting lots of exercise and fresh air.

Maia is continuing to enjoy taking part in The Wildlife Trusts 30 Days Wild. She is learning about honey bees and enjoyed making a honeycomb painting using bubble wrap. She's also written a little synopsis of the book she's just finished.

Sam has had a busy week working hard on his maths, making a traffic lights for feelings and making art in nature. He also enjoyed climbing his favourite tree at the weekend and playing with his sister. Lovely!

Week Commencing 1st June

Lots of activities from Georgina including tie die, butterflies emerging from their chrysalides, robot making, elderflower cordial, geode smashing and animations.

Ferne has finished making her family board game 'Around the World' and everyone has enjoyed playing it!

Maia has been busy this week taking part in the Wildlife Trust 30 Days Wild. So far she has completed a stream walk, walked barefoot in long grass, played a nature themed memory tray game, made a gift tag from pressed flowers, completed a nature walk and did a bike ride through the woods to the Tyndale Monument. She has also started a project about honeybees and made a protective mask to send to her Granny.

Ben has been working hard on his maths nad literacy and extra maths. He has also had time to have fun making a water slide, got tied together with Jessica and they had to work out how to get free, made a wormery, made a toffee cake and made bubbles within bubbles. What a busy and exciting time!

Sam has been some great maths and literacy work and some amazing art work too.

Megan has kicked off this term with some great work on teeth, drawing and labelling her own diagram. She also been busy making elder-flower cordial and making dauphinoise potatoes. Yum!

Week Commencing 18th May - well done Class 4, you are all working really hard!

Sam has been busy outside foraging for nettles and making nettle soup, and learning how to paint straight lines on his shield using masking tape. Good work Sam!

Georgian has been busy watching her caterpillars turn into chrysalides (the plural for chrysalis), drawing with Rob Biddulp and writing her own bug story - watch the story in the video below.

Ferne has been getting creative with art, Lego, music and puzzles. Lots of things to keep your brain active and support your well-being, Well done!

Ben has been busy taking part on the Rob Biddulph Record breaking Art class, rescuing slow worms from the road, baking and eating cakes as well as keeping up with all of his maths and literacy! Good work Ben.

Maia has been busy too, up-cycling a milk bottle into a hanging basket, making a card for Granny from pressed flowers and making a thank you poster for the money raised at her plant sale. Great work!
