With children spending more time online due to school closures we have add new content for parents on the 'Online Safety' page of our website. There you will find links to some extremely useful websites aimed at keeping you and your family safe online. Thinkuknow have also produced some home learning packs with 15 minute activities for you to work through with your children at home.
Class 4 Home Learning Information
Monday 1st June
Morning Class 4,
I hope you enjoyed your half term and are feeling relaxed and refreshed to start home learning again this week. Thank you again for all of your pictures and hard work over the last few weeks ,during lock down. I hope you enjoy looking at the pictures as much as we do.
So we are back to home learning and you have all been doing so well. I've updated our class page with this weeks maths and literacy worksheets, which you will find below.
This week would have been Cheltenham Science Week and due to lock down they have taken this online and have announced a Festival @Home Programme with live and pre-recorded events which you can find here: https://www.cheltenhamfestivals.com/science-home/. You will need to subscribe to their YouTube channel to watch the programmes.
Another exciting activity comes direct from J K Rowling - the Harry Potter author. She has asked children to illustrate her new book 'The Ickabog'. Over the next seven week, J K Rowling will be releasing a chapter or two of her new book, each week for free on her website. She will make suggestions of what you can draw and then you can send them into the competition for a chance to win and for them to be used in the final published book. More information about this exciting event can be found here: https://www.theickabog.com/home/
Don't forget, you can continue to work on the project activities below such as finding out about teeth and the digestive system, looking at your local area and finding out about Tyndale, Jenner and Pitman - the real people behind the names of your schools houses. Keep sending in pictures of your work and activities and you'll keep receiving Gems.
