The Governing Body wish to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Reception teacher with experience of KS1 and knowledge of the new EYFS 2021 framework. The post is permanent and Main Scale.

The Governing Body wish to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational One to One TA for 10 hrs per week (5 mornings 9-11am)

This role will involve working with a child who has significant social and emotional difficulties that impact on their ability to engage with, and access, learning. Full training and support from the SENDCO and other agencies would be provided.

This post would suit candidates, who are passionate about SEND and inclusion. Candidates must be flexible, creative in their approach, and committed to providing the best learning opportunities. Previous experience of working with children with special educational needs would be preferable and you must have excellent communication skills.

The successful applicant will be required to work closely with teachers, parents, the SENDCO and other outside agencies.

 Applicants will need:

  • Patience and compassion
  • Enthusiasm and drive
  • A good level of literacy and numeracy skills
  • Initiative and an ability to plan and assess alongside the class teacher
  • To be cheerful and have a good sense of humour
  • To be able to work effectively as part of a team

 

The successful applicant will:

  • Prepare and adapt learning support materials to meet the needs of the child
  • Support the child in achieving their individual targets both in and outside of the classroom
  • Ensure the child is managing in terms of their physical, social and emotional welfare

Pay scale 3 (£18,426-19,171 FTE) Fixed term until July 2023 with a possibility of extending

Post – dependent on receipt of satisfactory references and will be subject to a 6 month probationary period.
